Dictionary
It is usually easier to use the hard copy version of a dictionary and children still need to be taught basic dictionary skills.

Eyewitness to history; history through the eyes of those who lived it. From the ancient world through to the 20th century this resource although more useful to secondary students will have components in the text, sounds or images that will support primary students' learning. NB There could be adult content in some sections of the information.
Time capsule- Enter a date and find out about the notable world events, music, movies, grocery prices, favourite toys of the time and other items about that day.
